Liquid Gills
Smoothies Veteran Diver
Liquid Gills is a smoothie in Grounded. Its effect is Veteran Diver. In-game it is described as: "A scientific mystery that allows you to breathe underwater for a short time."
A smoothie: blend it at a Smoothie Station and its buff lasts a set time, so it is a pre-fight power-up rather than a snack.
The effect it grants is Veteran Diver — the reason to craft it is the buff it adds for its duration, not the item itself.
It is made from Water Flea Meat, Eelgrass Strand, and Raw Tadpole Meat, so topping up your stock of those ingredients is the prerequisite for keeping a supply on hand.
Verdict: Overall Liquid Gills is a smoothie worth carrying for its Veteran Diver effect.
A scientific mystery that allows you to breathe underwater for a short time.
