Black Ant Sword
Tier 2 Sword Melee
Black Ant Sword is a melee weapon in Grounded. It is a Tier 2 item. It deals 39 damage as a Slashing attack. In-game it is described as: "A clean blade with the cutting power of ants."
A melee weapon, so you have to close the distance — weigh its stun value if you plan to trade hits rather than hit and run.
Its 39 damage puts it near the bottom of the 37 melee entries tracked here (#30 by raw damage).
As a Slashing weapon it exploits the physical weakness of the 6 creatures here weak to Slashing damage — Bee, Infected Mite, Infected Wolf Spider, and 3 more.
Practical notes: it is obtained via Analyze Black Ant Mandibles Reach Brainpower Level 10.
Verdict: Overall Black Ant Sword is a melee weapon whose Slashing damage answers several of the creatures catalogued here.
